Hi! I'm a single mom who likes to work from home for a variety of different sites. I write articles, edit titles, answer questions for a text messaging service, sell makeup, and do online surveys. This blog primarily focuses on my freelance writing income, but the other sites are mentioned from time to time. Thanks for stopping by!

ReadBud Earnings for Yesterday
I'll update again later today, but I wanted to talk about ReadBud for a moment. ReadBud is a site that pays you to read and rate articles. The articles are short, and I read quickly, so this is a VERY easy way to make money. I made $1.34 rating 24 articles yesterday, and it only took me about 10 minutes. Yeah, that only averages out to about minimum wage...but if you're looking for a way to make money quickly and easily, I'd recommend ReadBud. You have to earn $50 to reach payout, but you can probably do that in about a month.

I'm Back to Working From Home and Doing Freelance Work Full-Time Again...
and I'm soooo happy!
Monday, I made the decision to leave my job as a Chiropractic Assistant. My boyfriend and I had fondly started referring to my boss as Dr. Douchebag, so I knew it was time to quit. I quit for several reasons, one of which was money.
Honestly, freelance work pays more than a regular job. This may not be true for everybody; however, it is true for me. Don't get me wrong; sometimes, finding freelance work is a job in itself. I'm okay with that, though...I like controlling my own income and hours. It gives me a sense of security (if you're a Monday through Friday, 8-5 person, you probably think I'm crazy).
Another reason I love to work from home? I see a significant decrease in my stress level. I'm happier, I'm a healthier, and I'm a better mom, girlfriend, and friend. I feel like I have more time, even though I put in just as many (if not more) hours per week.
I don't write for EHow as much as I used to (the whole switch to Demand Studios has been an adjustment for me, and it must have affected the site as a whole, because my earnings are at an all time low this month-only $8.31), but I have some articles that I need to transfer from my Mead notebook to my computer. I've rediscovered ChaCha, and I still love being a Title QA for Demand Studios. I'm also trying a few new sites out (Squidoo, Break Studios, Weegy, and People String), so I will let you know if they prove to be lucrative.
Sorry I was gone for like 6 months...things have been hectic. I'm back though, and I look forward to keeping you all updated on how to make money working from home. Take Care!
